Sādhana Pāda · Sutra 36

सत्यप्रतिष्ठायां क्रियाफलाश्रयत्वम्

satyapratiṣṭhāyāṃ kriyāphalāśrayatvam

When truthfulness is firmly established, actions and their fruits align.

When satya is perfected, the yogi’s words acquire creative power. What they say, happens.

Kriyā-phala-āśrayatva means that actions (kriyā) and their results (phala) find support (āśraya) in the yogi’s words.

This is the basis of the concept of vāk siddhi, the power of speech. When one has never lied, word aligns with reality; eventually, reality aligns with word.

In practical terms, a person of absolute truth generates trust. Their commitments are fulfilled, their predictions realized, because their life is integrated, without fractures between intention, word, and action.
